This blog is about exploring new applications and platforms to create websites. I will review mostly open source applications but will also get into retail applications providing they are inexpensive. We will explore Linux, yes Linux. Isn’t that exciting?! You will find out how useful Linux is when it comes to web development. I will also cover hardware, briefly. Once in a while I’ll write some tips and tricks about CSS, XHTML, and so forth.

So, who am I and why am I doing this? My name is Panos and I have been a systems analyst for over 15 years. For 10 years I was a programmer and the last few years I have been working on web design. The last 3 years I started working with Linux specifically Ubuntu. During all this time I have discovered new applications and ways to create websites without literally spending a dime. So, I have this knowledge and I want to share it with all you out there.
